Sally:
Up early to beat the wind. Riding by 5:30 it was a glorious morning in
Wyoming. Antelope, deer, jack rabbits were all out on display. Even
had a bald eagle fly right in front of me. That clear morning air is
such beautiful light. And no wind at all until 9 a.m. which was more
of a breeze compared to yesterday. Into camp before noon, it felt like
a day off. True showers, laundry and even a pool for Bill. Had time to
plot ahead and get reservations for the weekend of the 4th (we'll be
in Idaho!!!). Just back from dinner, time to digest and early to bed
so we can do it all again tomorrow!
Bill:
I didn't ride today because our campground was on 2 miles of hilly
dirt road and I needed to shuttle Sally to the paved road. So, I am
still .8 miles short of 1000. I have to ride tomorrow or Sally will
get to 3000 before I get to 1000. It was cold again this morning, in
the mid 40's but it warmed up quickly. We decided to take Peg and Paul
out for their birthday dinner tonight (tomorrow is actually their
birthday) but they didn't show so we drank their drinks and ate their
