Cochrane, Alabama
Sally bike mileage - 74.61 miles, 5:10:20 time
Sally total - 865.1 miles

Bill total - 386 miles
It's Saturday morning and we took today off. Definitely needed a day
to rest. I was really tired yesterday afternoon when I got to camp.
Couldn't have found a better place to spend two nights. This is a
great campground with all the amenities, including washer and dryer!
It's a pretty setting right along the Tombigbee River (which is too
muddy to want to swim in). Nothing particularly noteworthy about
yesterdays ride, more back roads with woods, lots of evidence of
logging, and finally got into farming country with big hay fields and
cattle. It's been very rural and the small towns are barely a town at
all. People must not eat out much here as restaurants are few and far
between. Mostly gas stations with snacks and quick food. We just had a
huge breakfast of fried potatoes with onions, eggs and french toast.
Welcome change from a quick bowl of oatmeal. Next order of business is
to adjust my bike gears so I can use high gear again! Good thing I
have Bill because I haven't got a clue. Sally
